Many people wonder what the word Taima means. If you are originally from Venezuela
(South America) you would definitely be familiar with it - this word will bring back memories from your childhood games. We, Venezuelans, use the word “Taima” as a sort of “time out”, well…, this is exactly what we want you to have - a time out!
But not a time out in the usual sense, instead a time out from the hustle and bustle of your busy day-to-day routine. We want you to take a minute to breathe and enjoy your wonderful family, and spend more time with them. To do so, we are offering a fun, safe and clean environment where everyone is free to choose an activity and still be together!
As mothers of young children we worry about the impact that all the video games and
television may have on our children by taking them away from reality. In addition, childhood obesity is a serious issue that is becoming more widespread. As parents, we want to prevent these issues from plaguing with our children and to do so, we need to set a healthy example for our children by being active and enforcing the importance of family unity.
So here we are to get your family moving together at all times!
Taima-Zone!-Indoor Activity Centre is the biggest INDOOR PLAYGROUND in Mississauga that offers a combination of a dance studio and a family and entertainment centre, which contains an indoor playground and party facility, providing an entertaining experience for both children and parents. We offer playground hours for public usage and organized parties and other activities.

Taima Zone indoor activity centre is committed to our customers in providing a clean,
safe and secure environment. We recognize the importance of cleanliness and take pride in maintaining our facility to the best standards, not only with the H1N1 and the start of the flu season, but at all the times- this always has and will be our motto.
As parents of our own small children, we understand the importance of keeping our facility clean and avoiding the spread of germs. We encourage our visitors to use the hand sanitizing stations throughout the facility, including rooms and front desk for both when you enter and leave the play centre.
As part of our daily routine, staff members have schedules for cleaning, so please do not panic if you see us disinfecting and cleaning the toys throughout the day as well.
We definitely cannot build a bubble around our family to keep them away from the flu bug. Wherever you are - school, work, shopping, daycare, public transportation- you are surrounded by germs. Here is a list of simple things to do to protect yourself and your family from getting sick
1. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 15 seconds or use a 60% - 90% alcohol-based disinfecting hand rub.
2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
3. Stay home if you are sick with flu-like symptoms.
4. Cough and sneeze into your upper sleeve or a tissue, not your hand. Dispose of tissues immediately and clean your hands.
5. Keep commonly touched surfaces clean and disinfected using commercially available
cleaning products.

PARTY ROOM HOSTESS
The objective of this position is to interact with Taima Zone guests in a cheerful positive and
professional manner, while executing all activities for the successful operation of the parties.
GUEST SERVICES HOSTESS
The objective of this position is to greet customers in a positive professional manner, while
maintaining all responsibilities of the reception area. You will also assist in all areas of guest
services within the facility.
APPLICATION PACKAGE
Taima Zone is seeking encouraged individuals with strong commitments to quality and customer satisfaction, to be part of our adventure! Staff will be working in a team environment, be a positive role model and will demonstrate responsible behaviour at all times. Experience with children will be a huge asset.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
In order to be considered for a position at Taima Zone you must:
• Be 16+ years of age
• Have certain additional qualifications depending on the position for which you are applying
• Have a clear criminal reference check, presented before commencing work with Taima Zone
• Have a valid CPR and First Aid certificate during employment.
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Current resume and cover letter including days/time of availability (part-time/full time)
• At least 3 references and contact info
